Network connection testing and bandwidth measurement

Network speed matters

Your internet connection directly affects video quality, screen sharing responsiveness, and overall session stability. We measure bandwidth in megabits per second and recommend wired connections over wireless when possible. Mobile hotspots can work but may introduce latency during peak usage hours.

5 Mbps

Basic participation

Sufficient for viewing standard definition video and participating in text discussions. Audio remains clear, but video may show compression artifacts during fast motion.

10 Mbps

Recommended speed

Enables high definition video reception and smooth screen sharing. You can comfortably enable your camera without degrading the experience for others.

25 Mbps

Optimal experience

Full quality video in both directions, instant screen share transitions, and background download capability for session materials without interrupting the stream.
